Vaginal Prolapse
What is vaginal prolapse?
Prolapse is a common condition that occurs when the tissues that support the pelvic organs become weakened and damaged. These organs can then prolapse into the vagina, potentially causing discomfort, pressure, urinary and bowel problems and many other symptoms. Vaginal prolapse can be diagnosed by Dr Wallman during a pelvic examination.
Causes and Treatment
The biggest cause of prolapse is pregnancy and birth, although other contributors include family history, lifestyle and certain medical conditions. Treatment may include simple lifestyle changes or surgery.
Dr Wallman provides comprehensive and discreet services that will ensure all of his patients needs are met.
